What are the Elements Involved in Lockout/Tagout?
BRADY STANDARD SAFETY PADLOCK
- PURPOSE:
At the core of every lockout/tagout process is a simple safety padlock. Brady Standard Safety Padlocks come in a variety of shackle sizes, materials and colours – ideal for applications in various areas of your process chain.
- SPECIFICATIONS:
You have the choice of a hardened steel shackle for enhanced security or a nylon shackle to cut off the electrical current from the shackle to the key. Should you require a lighter option, we also have aluminium shackles available on request.
BRADY SAFETY LOCKOUT HASPS
- PURPOSE:
Brady Safety Lockout Hasps ensure that you always have enough hands on deck when accessing energy sources. By attaching a safety lockout hasp, you allow up to six workers to lock out a single energy source.
- SPECIFICATIONS:
Made with vinyl coated high tensile steel. 6 padlocks can be applied through holes with a diameter of 11 mm.
BRADY LOCKOUT WARNING TAGS
- PURPOSE:
Brady Lockout Warning Tags enable you to indicate which of your staff is responsible for placing the lockout device, and who is authorised to remove or change it.
- SPECIFICATIONS:
Made with a flexible polyester, these tags are resistant to water, oil, and extreme temperatures. The matt surface is easy to write on with both ball point and felt-tip pen, and the 7mm hole fits perfectly on a padlock shackle.
