Now it’s time to see SIMOCODE in action! When our client recently approached us with a blocked pump dilemma, we knew exactly what to do.
The Problem:
Our client was experiencing a lot of downtime. Why? Because of blocked pumps that kept on failing and negatively impacting the overall production processes. Constantly having to remove the pump blockages was costing the client time and money, and in many instances, it would even lead to additional breakdowns.
Naturally we jumped at the opportunity to propose a creative solution. The Siemens SIMOCODE ProV unit proved to be the ideal product for the job, as it has CTVT for current and voltage measurement, an additional earth fault module, and residual CT, operator panel and all connection cables. The SIMOCODE ProV is best used in automated processes and situations where downtime is very expensive.
The detailed operational, service and diagnostics data can be used to prevent downtime, while also localising faults in no time when they do occur. What’s more, the unit’s modular and space-saving design makes it ideal for motor control centres (MCCs) in the process industry and for power plant technology.
