Print is everything! With the amazing Brady BMP71 Portable printer, our customers can now print anything from sleeves, selflam and flags, to tags, vinyl, wrap-around labels, heatshrink inserts and more.
The Problem:
The customer had an upcoming maintenance and upgrade project on the AS-i Industrial Network System within the plant and had to re-label and re-tag the new equipment and wiring. In addition, they required a software solution to simplify printing and designing, as they were facing the enormous task of re-labelling hundreds of field tag numbers, stop/start stations, and several panels within the project time frame.
The Solution:
Due to the wide range of applications that the BMP 71 can handle, we chose it as the best suitable printer for this specific application. By fully operating as a benchtop printer with a max of 50mm labels, the printer could be taken into the plant as a fully mobile printing machine with unmatched capabilities.
What’s more, importing all your data via the Brady Professional Workstation Software makes any project simple and seamless. As a result our customer was able to print hundreds of tags on inserts within a few minutes.
The Outcome:
The customer was highly impressed with the performance of the printer and the availability of the consumables. In their words, it is an “excellent printing machine for general, cable, wire and stop/start stations marking and labelling”. The BMP71 is currently running smoothly and still being used on the project, doing what it does best: print, print, print!
